I hate being in front of the camera. I think this is true for many photographers. We feel safe behind the lens, telling people how to pose and where to look. 2009 is the year of personal experiments for me, and here is one that I want to share with you. I’ve decided to record myself interviewing a few friends with the objective of letting the Sacramento market know where the best vendors are and this conversation will force me from behind the camera and into the hot seat. My personal goal is to feel confident and find my voice, thank you Vu and the crew of Camera Dojo for this idea. All videos on my blog will be in the Celebrate Naked category, why naked? Why Not!
I’m down and today really felt bad, ugly bad. When saw this video I cried, not with my eyes but with my soul. My skies are like the ones depicted in this video. The world is spinning out of control while my friends lose their homes, families and dreams. Zack thank you for being true to your heart and having the balls to it how your see it. God Bless you and yours and may Wisdom grace your house as you stand by your father.
Why blog? To begin with I have two blogs. I have a client blog, which I’m still developing and a personal one. This particular blog is where I speak about whatever comes to my mind. I find that sometimes I need something to remind me what took place yesterday and I know the blog will help me. People have asked me “Aren’t you afraid that your clients will find this journal?” I think the client should know who they are working with and this is just another piece of the complex puzzle that makes me. For the record, I aim to be candid, fresh, sexy and maybe a bit rude but always moving towards keeping it real. Thank you for taking time away from your busy day to read this blog. I wish you the very best in 2009 and I hope you will comment on my entries as I go thorough this thing that we call life.
