MotoGP at Monterey

We were down at Monterey this weekend. I needed to be by the sand and salt air. The tranquil power of the beach puts my mind and body at ease and makes me one with God. My wife and I had a great time walking in and out of the shops on Cannery Road but we were not alone. It seems that MotoGP was having their races in Laguna Seca this weekend and were surrounded by hundreds of motor cycles; it was like Bike Week in Daytona Beach.MotoGP is the world’s premier motorcycling championship, with a season of 18 Grands Prix in 14 countries bringing together the world’s top motorcycle manufacturers such as Honda, Yamaha, Suzuki, Ducati, Kawasaki, Aprilia and KTM – plus an elite crop of riders from every corner of the globe.” Later we found a pizza joint, that in my opinion severed the best pizza in the west coast and that saying a lot being a New Yorker. Giannis Pizza on 725 Lighthouse ave as packed to the gills but it was great. The sounds, smells and taste was like visiting a pizza shop back home, thumbs up all the way to Brooklyn.
